Hydrangea

The blue, white and pink coloured hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) blossoms resemble flower balls that add accent to every room. The plant needs more than average care and attention and blooms longer in clool temperatures. The colour of the blossoms often depends on the soil acidity: acidic soil – blue colour, neutral soil – creamy colour, limy soil – pink or violet colour.
Delivered in a plastic pot. A ceramic pot can be ordered separately.

CARE ADVISE

  • Loves light, but protect from bright light in summer
  • Avoid draft
  • Wants cooler temperature for blooming (below 20 °C)
  • Water regularly. Avoid overwatering or drying out
  • Fertilise in spring and summer with rhododendron fertiliser 2 times a month, fertilise blue varieties with an aluminium containing fertiliser.
  • After blooming replant in acidic soil for rhododendrons or citruses
  • Can be grown outside
  • The colour of the blossoms often depends on soil acidity: acidic soil – blue colour, neutral soil – creamy colour, limy soil – pink or violet colour. Yellow, white, pale green and mixed
  • Tends to be a seasonal plant, if grown indoors. If you want to keep it for longer, cut back the shoots by half after blooming, replant, and keep in cool. In winter the plant should rest in a dry, dark and cold space (-15°C - 5°C), for example in a basement
  • Dangerously poisonous, if eaten

Customer satisfaction is of upmost importance to us. Mark your special requests, such as the colour of flowers, in the information box located in the shopping cart (click "Change or specify details”). We accept complaints about the quality of flowers within three days after the delivery.

The delivery fee is usually HUF 3,300 within Hungary and HUF 4,000 abroad. If the delivery address is more than 20 km away from the nearest partner florist, the provider is entitled to charge an additional delivery fee, in which case we will notify the customer as soon as possible. Deliveries are organized through our florist network.

The delivery time specified by the customer is considered a preferred time, delivery times are not guaranteed. If the order is delivered out of the specified delivery time frame, the customer cannot claim compensation.

The delivery time can only be guaranteed in the case of a funeral. Please note the exact time of the funeral in the Notes about delivery section.

Orders received outside customer service hours will be processed and delivered on the next working day at the earliest. We cannot guarantee the preferred delivery time of the day during busy periods and big days (e.g. Women's Day, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day).

It may happen that we cannot deliver to the given address, in which case we will inform you as soon as possible and if you have already paid for the product, we will refund you immediately.

Please check carefully that the delivery address is complete (including the recipient's phone number, doorbell, floor and door number). We are not responsible if the delivery fails time due to an incorrect or incomplete address and/or phone number.

For special orders or requests, please contact us. Guaranteed delivery on a specific date is only possible in case of prior consultation with our customer service department.

Our delivery employee is entitled to leave the flowers with another reliable person or place (e.g. neighbor, receptionist, porter, funeral home, etc.) from whom or where the recipient is expected to receive the flowers.

If the recipient refuses to accept the flower without reason, the full fee must be paid, which will be invoiced by our staff member.
